I kept doing research and there is no way to get Tinker working at this point unless you spend money on a GFWL game that has a reusable key. Do I have any options to get this completed? In summary, I have a Windows 10 PC, was an existing GFWL user, do not have a product key, and do not have a separate GFWL game to use for login purposes. However, I don't have any other games as Tinker was the only one I had ever started during the GFWL era. Last, I see threads where I can sync achievements if I have a different GFWL game to use to log in to my Microsoft account. Separate from the results mentioned above, I am also able to fully play the game by removing the Xbox Live functionality parts of it, but I am assuming there is no way for the achievements to unlock and sync with my Microsoft account if I do it this way, as I don't encounter a Microsoft login menu when doing this. I understand that since this was a free game that there is no product key and that the GFWL marketplace is down so I can't download a new "copy" or get a new key. Either way I am able to install the game and start it, log into my Microsoft account (I am assuming it is the same login as my standard Xbox Live/Microsoft account), and get to the product key entry page. I have also used different installation combinations on my local Windows 10 machine. I am currently running a Windows 10 PC but have access to my hard drive with the Tinker files on them (using a hard drive enclosure). I see that people on the site are finishing the game so I am assuming it is still possible to complete this. I know this topic has been discussed many different ways but I am still trying to figure out my options for completing the Tinker achievements that I started in 2010 on my Windows 7 PC.
